Tanya joined Levine & Co. in September 2018 with four years of experience as a real estate agent. Prior to working in real estate, Tanya was an explosive ordnance technician for the Army National Guard, and she brings a highly skilled attention to detail to each client interaction. Her military experience also gave Tanya the opportunity to utilize VA loans both for herself and her real estate clients.
In addition to her technical work with the National Guard, Tanya also spent time working for the federal government in accounting and HR roles. Here she familiarized herself with long contracts, detailed compliance requirements, and navigating tedious systems to ensure employees received the correct benefits.
Tanya says her transition to real estate was a natural one, since she’s always been focused on immersive community involvement. She has served on the PTA executive board of her children’s elementary school, and actively volunteers with Cub Scouts. Tanya recently joined Realtors for Recovery Houston, which helps uninsured Harvey victims get back into their homes.
For Tanya, it’s important to find her clients a home in a community that fits their lifestyle. In pursuit of this goal, she makes it a priority to ensure clients feel heard and understood by providing immediate answers to their questions or concerns. She says working with Levine & Co. has contributed to a goal-oriented environment, since agents are encouraged to work together in support of clients while building each other up.
Outside of work, Tanya enjoys entertaining friends, doing DIY projects, and volunteering at her children’s school functions. She grew up in Minnesota and has a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of Minnesota. In addition, Tanya has earned designations as both an Accredited Buyer’s Representative® and Graduate, REALTOR® Institute.
